The reality of reviews is exactly like reviews of movies or games. Find a reviewer whose opinions on stuff reliably match things you do own, and from there, if they like something, odds are you will.

I have an inverse relationship with Timmy, as an example. He loves vocals, i do not. So stuff he likes tends to bore me, no matter how good he says it is, it's rare that we both like a product. I tend to agree with crinacle and zeos' opinions, not with HBB.

People really seem to want too much objectivity from what boils down to a super subjective experience.

Practical answer- more work to cut it off, doing so might cause artificial impact on the audible range.

Jb weld. Make sure it's in the right position for your ears and scuff up the areas with sandpaper before to give the JB good grip. It'll last forever. Superglue is too brittle. I'd just use the putty stick version. But I have some regular jb weld holding together the utterly ruined hinges on some drop pandas that have been abused like heck for the last year with no issue.
