Today I was taking a photo through a screen that I’m going to use as a reference for a painting. Autofocus will only focus on the screen.

Local Camera club - not 100% satisfying because judges prefer traditional styles, but they also have how-to events. And it’s cheap.
Cliche photos of waterfalls, landmarks, etc… show some creativity!
