Deaf people can still feel vibrations from music, and in my experience tend to enjoy that quite a lot

This is what's meant by collapse:

In a period of just 50 years, major stable empires simply ceased to exist, and it's believed that sudden (much less dramatic) changes to the climate induced this.
That's not what was decided in Dodge v. Ford. That case decided that corporations are allowed to act in the interest of majority shareholders even if it hurts the interests of minority shareholders. The Dodge brothers owned Ford shares and were trying to use their position to force Ford to stop competing with Dodge.
Further:
"In fact, courts have consistently refused to hold directors liable for failing to maximise shareholder value."
"In 2014, the United States Supreme Court voiced its position in no uncertain terms. In Burwell v Hobby Lobby Stores Inc., the Supreme Court stated that “Modern corporate law does not require for profit corporations to pursue profit at the expense of everything else”.

The idea that corporations are hamstrung and simply must do evil things to maximize profit is actually just corporate propaganda.
The Commuter Rail is notoriously as expensive as parking

Of course, at the rate they're consolidating, we're all gonna be working for MGH soon enough.
I'm a nurse who uses 24-hr time at work and it's about 50/50 with me saying "fourteen hundred" or "2pm" when speaking. I generally find that my colleagues understand both and use both interchangeably.
One of the big Boston hospitals tried to recruit me for their transplant team once. They wanted to pay me $15,000/year LESS for the privilege of commuting into Boston five days a week and paying for my own parking. Fuck that noise. I'll stay at my little community hospital, thanks. Prestige ain't gonna pay my mortgage.
What makes you think these children's parents are able to vote? Most of these are immigrant children. These people did not ask to be abused
Well this is terrifying
Every day is Shut The Fuck Up Friday
That's awesome. Both of the healthcare companies I work for use Okta
Kevin also played Harry in the movie Harry and the Hendersons. He was the go-to guy back in the day at 7'2" tall. It's sad he died so young.
