They are closed planars so that is expected. Does the clicking go away if you keep a gap between your ears and the pads?

You do not need any EQ for audiobooks. It's just a person narrating, right? You don't need anything specific for that.

Yeah, I don't use them for long periods, just on the commute to work in the mornings.

Xm4 (the wf one) is quite good but airpods pro is one of the few greatest TWSes you can get along with Samsung Buds Pro.

Just for TV, there are better options than Bluetooth as it introduces some delay.

I think getting a wireless headphone with wire support would be safer (no latency) and maybe cheaper.
