Great advice.

In today’s age of 3D printing you can get someone to fab a prototype mock of it if that fits. Then shop that around to see the feasibility and cost of production.

In the meantime marketing and use case is huge. Gather and network and dig yourself deep into the world of who this is serving.

You’re not selling the product. You’re selling a solution to the problem. That usually means you are selling the problem first and offering a solution.

Working that angle usually helps refine the actual product as well as easily sell it.

Network and get involved in as much as possible.

You aren’t expected to find your passion or career right out of Highschool or college. Very few will end up in the career they chose.

You can lessen that time by taking as many risks as you can as often as possible.

Meet new people in varied fields. Ask questions, ask to get involved.

What does that look like? Networking events at school or your current job. Friends functions or work functions. They would always love to have a chum tag along.

Search out your interests online, follow through with some classes or training. Most are free online to some degree.

Just general exposure to as much as you can stand. Something will click. Someone will take to you, offer you an opportunity. You may create an entirely new space from ideas of having such varied experiences.

Easier said than done. But if attempted? Geez.

As with all movements there are the VERY FEW that have what it takes and are creative and driven and smart enough to be successful. Then there are those that sell the course and lifestyle to fail, assisted.

Those that made it move on to the next phase. Those that don’t decided there is more money, for them, in selling the path they took to fail.

Just omitting the fail part.
