Can you show me on this headphone amp where our collections hurt you?

Great choice of headphones! My phone with the Apple dongle wouldn't drive mine adequately, but the Qudelix 5K with a balanced cable ran them fine. I use them with one of those fancy desktop DAC headphone amps now. I don't know if your PC --> Stereo amp/recevier-->headphone jack will work well or not, mainly because I don't know how good or bad your PC sound card is. I would think that the headphone jack on a home stereo amp or receiver would drive them fine, and as long as the signal coming from the PC is clean and clear, it should be fine.

Sennheiser 600 series with magni/modi is a fine set up. Find some music you like and enjoy.

So your dog can enjoy them, too.

Yeah, I liked it better than the Sony premium audio that I have in my car.

The Fender premium audio, at least in Volkswagens a dizen years or so ago, is actually Panasonic, which is pretty good. Source: I sold Volkswagens when they switched from Dynaudio to “Fender,” and Panasonic made Technics, and also the cool little portable cassette player I had when I was 13, lol.

A lot of the cost that goes into wireless headphones is in the wireless part of them. Wired headphones around the same price are normally much, much better for listening to music or gaming, but of Course, they aren't as much fun to pair with your phone and take with you on a walk in the park.

You could try IEMs (in-ear monitors) and see how those work for you. You can easily find decent sounding ones for $20 (US).

Another option might be some of the inexpensive Koss headphones. There are three that are quite popular: Porta Pros, KSC 75 (should be very comfortable) and KPH 30i. I think there is also a KPH40 that is similar. I own the Portal Pros, and I found them both comfortable and surprisingly good for music considering they are design from the 1980s (and look it). I added an aftermarket set of pads (Yaxi pads, like $12) after reading numerous recommendations, and they helped clean up the bass a little and made the headphones a bit more comfortable. I can wear them for hours, but YMMV.

Where on earth does speculation about a cable changing sound stage and tonality and technicality even come from?

Someone's ass.

I even saw a thread where a commenter was telling someone that once they find the right cables, they need to experiment with "changing solder, wire direction, etc. because every single thing makes a huge difference."

"Just buy the Wang Chung 2 Night; it's basically end game and it's only $15!"

Then you suffer and yearn. 🥺

If you’re buying gear to impress a subreddit, sell a kidney. If you’re buying gear to achieve a pleasing sound, stop when the sound pleases you.

I was going to buy them then too, but everyone in here was like “Those SUCK!” so I didn’t. Next time they’re on sale like that, I’ll buy a pair, but I have too much money going out right now to do it. Maybe Black Friday…
