Yeah this device is not for me, but I'm glad it exists as it means software/OS will have to support 8gb ram for years to come, and my 16gb MacBook will benefit.

The UK still uses imperial measurements for things like height and weight.

Then how would you expect anyone to answer about a country specific think like health insurance without saying what country you're in? Are you Japanese?

That was part of the name choice. It's also the 3D version of square. Adding another dimension.

That wasn't the reason. It's mostly because cash app became so big that it got confusing if square was the company or the product. Same way Facebook became meta once the had Instagram.

Block is the parent company for square, cash app, tidal, afterpay. In the same way that meta runs Facebook and Instagram.

I don't know how possible it would be, but I think it's a great point you make. If people took into account the full cost of driving, it would be higher than they think and in many cases push them to other modes of transport.

I've also been to America, multiple times. It's awful, man. Glad you got out alive.

We have lots of speed cameras and red light cameras in Australia. Let the police focus on real crime, while the cameras work 24/7.

Whatever gets him to prison

I have a nas with 2x10tb drives. I mostly just have music, movies and tv shows on it.

People talk about raid not being a backup, but is that relevant for non-original data? I mean I can always get the media again if need be. It would just be an inconvenience.

What would you do?
