Seiko Cocktail Time as many mentioned. No need to look any further.

However please be aware that watches have different sizes in diameter. They can look too big or too small depending on the wrsit size of your boyfriend.

I would go for the blue Alpinist or the Hamilton Khaki Auto, which has a nice blue color too. For white, I‘ll have a look at the Sharp Edged SPB165.

How much off does it run?

Sell the Kahki Auto and get the Longines Spitit back. Asap. We all make mistakes. You can still fix it.

Seiko SRPE57 or another number depending on the dial color.

Also Seiko Field Watch Series.

And the incomparable Citizen Tsuyosa.

Of course you can wear any size you want. Thats the right mind set. I have to admit though, seeing some huge watches on tiny wrists gives me a feeling like watching an accident. I don’t want to look there, but the imbalance is drawing my eyes to it. Its weird. Its a proportion thing.

If I had a daily driver, I would have only one watch. I have three and like them all equally. I‘m not aware whether some gets more wrist time than the others. I can however understand if there is some sentimental value to a watch.

Wait. There was a post a couple of days ago with a Seiko Presage which had a very similar if not the same pattern on the dial.

I don’t hate G-Shock. But unless this is worth hundreds of dollars, I would still ditch it since it doesn’t suite the otherwise nice collection. Not an G-Shock expert though. Just speaking from a visual perspective.

From the variety of watches you have, you are good. However it is time to move on friend. I would ditch the G-Shock for something that is equally poppy (maybe just the dial) but also more finished. Not sure how to explain it. I would also replace the golden Tissot with any Grand Seiko.

Seiko SPB155 or Traska Summiteer will do the job.

I‘d rather go with the Seiko Baby Alpinist and get a leather strap, a bracelet and a nato. All together for below 1000$. Similar specs like the murph. Dial is not plain black though.

Have a look as well at:

• Traska Summiteer

• Lorier Falcon 3
