Yeah this whole thread feels like people pushing backing against the early overreactions with…more overreactions. The Wolves are a tough 10-game stretch away from being like a 5-seed. The Pelicans and Grizzlies both spent about a week in December last year as the 1-seed in the West, and how did their seasons end up?

Let’s at least maybe get halfway through the season before we start applauding a trade for turning a team into a championship contender.

Does he not hit the ball first? That’s certainly what it looks like if you take it frame by frame in this video.

Yeah, re-evaluating trades after the fact has never made sense to me. You can only evaluate based on the trade and the value of the pieces involved at the time.

The Lakers trade for Russell Westbrook was a bad trade. I’m not saying that because it didn’t work out. I’m saying that because it was a bad value proposition at the time.

The Clippers trade for Paul George was still a good trade. It obviously didn’t work out, but giving up what they gave up to acquire two top-10 players in their primes is a no-brainer deal.

I was just legitimately shocked at how toxic and angry this comment section is. I came here expecting some jokes and “c’mon man” type of comments, but it’s instead full of vitriol and serious anger…all over a single play in a preseason game.

I’m not sure if it’s a problem with this sub or maybe just the internet in general, but the fact that people are so ready to get so incensed at the drop of a hat just seems really unhealthy to me.

This sub is hilariously overdramatic.

“Such a loser,” “embarrassment to the league,” “it’s actually disgusting.”

Guys, if an innocuous play like this gets you so angry and worked up, maybe y’all need to find a new hobby. Or at least take this hobby less seriously, and go outside and get some fresh air and sunshine or something. It’s just a fuckin’ game.
