How to be single: Starter edition

Some people tell me "you just sit these guys down and convince them out of their positions, trust me, it will work"

And then I read this stuff over and over and over again. Write these idiots off for christ sake. Gerrymander them away, shut off fox news, ban their dumb content creators from the internet and lock up every ICE agent in the country forever.

Whatever it takes, make them politcally irrelevant, then you can think about improving something.

It is!

Turns out that living without the fear of your own desires and emotions is pure freedom. If you are in monoamorus relationship and fall in love with a third person, thats a threat. For me right now the same situation is pure bliss. I get to love another human after all, that feels great!

Since Im polyamorous, thats not an issue for me or my partners, every one of us have done that at some point. Though for monoamorous people that is probably kind of insulting and problematic.

Yes even with exactly those words, which is a little funny :D

I recently stumbled across this article and thought I might share it here. Deals with how we handle expectations of capability, capacity, expectations and how we navigates chores.

Was a real eye opener for me in a lot of cases, since it puts heavy emphasis on disability, neurodivergence and general issues.

Very good read, highly recommend!

I stumbled across this article in a discord server and thought sharing it here would be nice.

The topic is about how neurodivergence, disability and general issues affect how we handle expectations of "competence", but also how people deliberatly underperform to avoid being expected to do the task again.

Very good read!

After long discussion and frequent delays, the legalisation is finally here to stay.

*Edit: I checked some of the stuff more out in detail. While some concepts on this are valid and backed up by sience, others like RSD are not. Use this as a springboard for learning, not as a valid source in itself. Yes it says so in the corner already. But spelling it out might help.

People are more complicated then a diagram from the internet. Never forget that.
