The frustrating thing here is that it was possible to know that the President doesn't really have a lot of power over the price of things before the election, and not vote based on something that Trump can't fix. "All Presidents must answer for the price of $ITEM" is a terrible way to vote.

The US has a lot of citizens in Israel, and a lot of Israeli citizens with families in the US, so it's hard to turn from the historic unconditional support to conditional support or even lack of support. No matter who is in office, the reality of this is strong.
