They are analog modems on a telephone line. There is no encryption at all, because they still need to be compatible with fax machines from the 1970s.

There was also an exploit where someone sent a manipulated image via fax, which would exploit an old bug in a jpg library that is used in the software stack, so you can run your own code.

"I need to grab lunch, find some highly rated sit-down restaurants along the way. I'm not in a rush, oh, and I’d like to eat outside,” Google offers as an example, stating that it will pull in reams of data, including reviews, from Google Maps to help make a decision.

Yeah that's not how I use my car...

Until you get older, and there is no workforce that pays for your medical bills that increase with age, your pension or just no people to staff hospitals and age care facilities.

"can you take that dick out of your mouth? I can hardly understand you!"

Im sure there are a lot of deals and agreements in place with other countries from earlier administrations, something like "you give us military support, in exchange we give you resources, buy US bonds or trade our oil in USD". As far as i remember Europe adopted some of the US copyright law for the internet after ~~hollywood~~ the US administration pushed for it, so if you host pirated US movies in europe you can be sent to an US jail for that. I a lot of those deals would be canceled by the other states if it turns out that the US does not hold up their part of the deal.

Funny that playing videos and use any other websites except YouTube works on Firefox without crashing the browser, don't you think?

I'm against training on my code because my code is terrible. The only thing worse is the other code from coworkers in the same project.

The takeaway for the next government here is essentially: we can do what we want, send anyone to jail, kill people on the street and nothing bad will happen, and no one in power will suffer any consequences.

They are scammers who try to manipulate you into buying worthless crypto, or blackmail you after you send "your girlfriend" intimate pictures or videos.

Could be unique like a fingerprint. Might be able to crosscheck this with other biometric data, like when a picture is taken at airports or border crossings.

It seems to me that this could be equally profitable compared to street drugs if you take the inflated price for common prescription medicine and health care in the US into account. If you source prescription medicine from let's say Canada or Mexico to undercut the official street prices in the US your risk of getting cought or run into trouble with law enforcement or rival gangs seems much lower. Also neighbors would not call the police on a guy that sources cheap insulin for the old guy living next door, or what am I missing?

Comrades of the European Internet Forum,

enough is enough!

For decades, we have placed ourselves in the cultural shadows - well-behaved, conformist, as if we were the ill-educated child of the great American moral uncle, who must not be too loud, not too naked and certainly not too independent. While half-naked shoulders are censored at high school graduation ceremonies in the USA, heads are thrown around like bowling balls in TV series. All normal, all ‘entertainment’. But woe betide you if you see a nipple - then the censorship hammer screeches louder than a Trump on Truth Social.

I ask you: What has become of Europe?

We, the continent-born of the Enlightenment, the revolutions, the renaissance of nudity on canvas, in stone and on film - we have allowed a country that bottles cheese in cans, of all things, to tell us what is ‘moral’!

It's not moral, it's demurely stupid.

Why are depictions of violence in mass media allowed to flow freely like American fracking oil, but natural, aesthetic, tasteful nudity - which has been part of European art and culture for centuries - is algorithmically filtered out, demonetised and labelled with warnings as if it were uranium?

No more prudish double standards!

We need a cultural return to what we have to offer:

  • Enlightenment instead of transfiguration.
  • Pleasure instead of violence.
  • Nudity as an expression of naturalness - not as a moral offence.

I call on you: Banish pixelated prudery! Let's tear apart the corset of American moral dictatorship like a badly programmed DRM protection! Save the freedom of the breast - for Europe!

Stop aligning your films, games and series with a market that beeps ‘fuck’ five times but completely waves ‘shoot him in the face’ through.

We are not Hollywood's post office box. We are Europe. We are culture. We are naked! - So, metaphorically. And sometimes literally. And that's okay.

Thank you for your attention!
