China, if you're listening...

If you don't understand what the government/military technology is capable of, I'm sorry. I had a coworker who worked in and around extremely high level military surveillance years ago. Back then, they had the capability of turning on any cell phone microphone or camera and real time listen in. He wouldnt go beyond that, but did say/ the surveillance satellites in movies have nothing on current (even back then) capabilities. Imagine now

We are just now learning of Locate X who can pinpoint almost any phone location, tie it to advertising id's and view its movement history, and build an entire picture of what virtually any person on this planet is doing. That's just a company, not the government.

At this point in my life, I view anti tracking, ad block, encryption, alternate OSs etc. as keeping honest people honest. Military/govt. tech has ways around it all.

Depends on if the companies are involved in anything illegal or just him.

The issue here isn't sex, its censorship. Texas already requires age verification for adult sites. They got that win. Fine. Now they want to go after TV and movies. Ok.

So then what's next?

They will then start going after anything "they" deem unfit. It's a slippery slope. Just look at them already banning books.

The results in any election? 27% claim independent, yet any major election is vastly R or D.
My thing is, claiming your I but not voting that way is odd. I think we can say most libertarians that would be part of this independent block end up voting R.

Almost 27% identify as independent?

Ive never seen any voting poll that even comes close to that. Majority in the survey are white, 50+, evangelical/mainline christian midwestern/southerners. That demographic doesn't help skew to 27% independent to me. The study posted source and methodology though so I don't know what to say.

They own Hot Topic, Box Lunch and Torrid, and at least 2 or 3 more smaller companies.

I just watched Zef on Prime and it gave me a whole new perspective on them.

Almost. It doesn't list cashapp, venmo, zelle. I use a local credit union, so my bank app would likely never be listed.

Maybe I just keep an eye out for a cheap Pixel and just try it.

Is there a confirmed list of apps that will not function in Graphene? I searched around, and all I get is "some bank apps dont work" but your the first I see mention cashapp specifically. I could probably work around Cashapp, but I'd at least need zelle/venmo etc. Due to my credit union app more than likely not being compatible.

I really want to move to the platform, but I don't currently have a Pixel, so I can't just try it out. Before going out, buying a Pixel, loading Graphene and finding out I can't use my banking app or the very least the other money apps I'd just like a heads up.

In the end if I need a backup phone then so be it.
