You think that's bad, here's something to consider... The vast majority of them died within 24 hours of ingesting dihydrogen monoxide!

Not a lie. An oversimplification, perhaps, but that is entirely besides the point.

I honestly have no idea what numerals Arabic people use. But as I said, I've known that the numerals we use are called Arabic numerals since at least 8th grade.

It's not that confusing for anybody that paid the least bit of attention in school. I didn't know all the nuances of it, but I was well aware that English (as well as most other Western languages) uses the Latin alphabet and Arabic numerals since like 8th grade.

Seriously, the whole bit is just showing how ignorant these people are and how easy it is to frighten them. Like the "ban dihydrogen monoxide" petitions, but for racist chucklefucks.

I think my experience has been the opposite. Last time I got a job I applied for was 2005. Granted, I was with that company for 14 years, but since 2019, literally every job I have gotten (4 at this point) has been because recruiters reached out to me, while probably 95% of jobs I proactively applied for never even bothered to interview me. I've even seen job listings I applied for expire and get relisted without them even talking to me, which felt utterly humiliating.

It's weird, simultaneously being in-demand enough that people reach out to offer jobs to me out of the blue, but at the same time being unable to even get an interview on my own. Really makes me think this phantom jobs thing is true.

Most of the lower courts would probably side with him. If the Supremes hear it, though, he'll probably be fucked.

Feeling pretty good about buying a Hyundai recently.

To be fair, that is a known, but extremely rare, side effect of some of the vaccines (specifically the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and the AstraZeneca vaccine that ended up being pulled from the market fairly early on). But the risk is definitely much worse with actual COVID.

Ironically, it's the mRNA vaccines that these people get super weird about that are the safest in this regard.

He made revenge porn of her. Revenge child porn.

He's lucky she didn't rip out his throat.

According to the article, the parents are suing the school. Which is good.

I've had a few that I really liked, but even those, I think I would have liked more as a sandwich with actual bread.

Honestly, for me, it was when they took the grilled chicken sandwich off the menu. They had the best grilled chicken in fast food, and they replaced with a thoroughly mid wrap.

More than 100 Arizona Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and progressive Democrats and community leaders have signed a letter making the case for those reluctant to support Kamala Harris against Donald Trump.

“We know that many in our communities are resistant to vote for Kamala Harris because of the Biden administration’s complicity in the genocide,” the letter, published Thursday night, reads.

“Some of us have lost many family members in Gaza and Lebanon. We respect those who feel they simply can’t vote for a member of the administration that sent the bombs that may have killed their loved ones,” the letter continued. “As we consider the full situation carefully, however, we conclude that voting for Kamala Harris is the best option for the Palestinian cause and all of our communities.”
