Left all day, I had the right J Crew x Timex watch for a while. Grabbed it while thrifting. It's cool, I like the faux aging. But the laser etching on the back felt course, and from what I remember the Lume was either fake or weak. The left one looks just better built with raised indices and definite lume. Yup, left all day!

The weird obsession people have with their watches looking too small is cringe. Like Uncle Jack in Always Sunny worrying his hands are too small.
Divers definitely belong on Leather bands. They just look super good that way and other than a swim or shower, no one's exposing them to water very often.
Quartz is dope.
1926 Elgin pocket watch. I really wanted an art deco watch because we are entering the 20's again and I thought it would be neat. It runs super fast but still runs well.
That's badass. My watch doesn't have a projector.
OMEGA SPEEDMASTER PROFESSIONAL. ALL DAY. I've been drooling over that watch for years now since collecting in 2016. Absolutely perfect.
Hmmm. I may be totally off base here. Pilot watches are cool and stuff but they honestly seem like oversized field watches. Idk. From someone that's dated a girl that likes watches as well, often times aesthetic and form beats purpose and functionally. A slide rule watch would be cool or a chronograph with a tachymeter. That's all dope and all for the job. But I think something like a Hamilton Pioneer Pilot would be just as fitting. 36mm. 9.95mm thick. Easily readable and I have to imagine super comfortable to wear. Functional while also leaving room to dress up or down. Idk. That to me seems like a gift I'd give.
But ultimately when it comes to watches. You honestly just gotta ask them what they want or even if they're going to wear one.
