Love this watch, looking at adding a Longines Spirit to my stash in the next few months..

IMHO there are worse offenders out there than this, including some of the favorites on Reddit, like CW..

It is a bad—and something like their 3rd logo in 2 years.. talk about a brand without any originality or idea of who they are…

I’ll never understand the CW love, no original design, can’t even figure out their own branding—unlikely to be making watches in ten years.. similar $$ buys you Longines, Tissot, Seiko, Hamilton etc..

In contrast to many of the comments below I would suggest not buying a so-called “homage” (aka knock-off) from a fly-by-night micro brand. For around $500 or a few bucks more you can buy an automatic Tissot PRX, or a Hamilton with real watchmaking cred, real history and authenticity in their design. Most folks won’t care, but the IYKYK crowd will—and you’re supporting real design and authenticity.. just an alternate opinion. Also, look for pre-owned to save a few bucks and up the quality of what’s on your wrist..

I’ll bite—I‘ll spend up $500 without thinking much about it, up to $1k 1X or 2X a year or so, above $2k and I’m in sell to buy mode.. my current inventory (hate the word collection) includes everything from a Timex Snoopy through Panerai and Rolex.. with a growing collection of Seiko at all price points.. At a dozen watches right now and definitely need to sell before I buy anything else.. but I really like every thing I have so… 🤔🤔🤔
