Anecdotally; the retired marines, airman, and navy pilots I know are deeply upset by Trumps appointment. The problem is they aren’t active. They fought in Korea, Vietnam, and the gulf. Hell, the 91 year old Navy pilot I know flew Spy missions into Russian airspace 100 feet off the ground at 500mph. He put a sign on his fence that said. “If you voted for Trump, you’re not welcome”. On his front gate. His fellow democrat neighbors told him he needed to take it down. And he gets emotional with tears in his eyes when he said “Trump is un-American”. This is so sad. Those who care; they did their time! I know there are plenty of MAGA vets that fought along side him. After everything they went through together, the rift they face is over this moron?! Over Trump?! Trump is what broke America in half? That makes my head spin. Not Clinton, not Bush, not 911, not Obama. Trump is the line of separation. I hope we learn that sooner rather than later. I hope we learn whatever this “grievance” is we face as a country. And by god, I hope people get there fill of this bull shit faster, so we can all move on to something else. Sick of eating Trump morning noon and night.

Clearly he’s worth billions in this economy, with that 45 carat chicken egg his neck is carrying and all.

Is this where an anti vaxxer would faithlessly argue that said brain damage would be a desirable alternative to autism? smh

Maybe it’s the way we keep saying it. Have we tried alternate punctuation such as: They. Do. Not. Care. About. The. Law.

Maybe this helps

Well, they’d have to get rid of Curtis Yarvin’s brown grub that is JD Vance. But at least the “Butterfly Revolution” would be squashed and stopped from doubling these weak minded tech bros from reinventing the world.

I wish you were wrong, but I guess “You’re up, mario”.

Love that sentiment. And I love the fediverse. Thanks to every developer and every one of us using this. I deleted Reddit in 2022 and never looked back, thanks to all of you. I use my phone a little less, and YouTube is the only thing I still use that’s not federated.

No. Fuck you Mark. Corpocrats don’t get it. The community likes this momentum. We like meeting Chinese people. We like the fediverse. Stop trying to charge us for the use of the public square

What are the chances that one of the motivations for these people is profit. ? I mean, seriously. Is there profit potential here for these creators whose content goes viral, or does it only satisfy their sadistic blood lust ? Misanthropy of the highest, or direct connection to the cult?

So basically, lead our attention astray as we invest all the good time and resources of our politicians and defendants of democracy trying to block every aweful measure of Project 2025. And While they dismantle every important institution, make more back door deals to personally enrich themselves. We will never catch up because they are now 6 steps ahead of us in the supreme court, however many seats, and 4 years time on the shot clock to do it. If there are 4 years of gridlock, we’d be extremely lucky. But the majority of America just used their ballots to lubricate all of our asses. January we all bend over and grab a hand full of ankles.

Yeah, it’s kind of true. I’ve tried a bunch of Lightroom and Photoshop alternatives. Pixelmator and Photomator for iOS and macOS are my absolute favorites. I wish I could get around Affinity software better, but I can do 95% of what I need in Pixelmator. And I love some of the select tools. Bonus: Davinci Resolve is a big switch for Premiere users— but worth it, and even CapCut’s free features can help with the basics.
