As someone that does this...

People say I'm irritating but endearing.

So take that as you will.

Oh, ew.

Thanks for the correction but also that's... About right for America and billionaires.

Just allowed in to fuck with people, hack phones, steal money and leave.

Its a mech suit that the more you consider it a freeing source of maneuvering the world the more attached to it you become and safer you feel from the rest of the world. No matter it makes people have all kinds of emotional responses that are unpleasant for the rest of us.

I think people all just hate each other more now. Generally stress makes little aggressions feel more extreme and the world is in fact falling apart at the seams.

Plus scientific studies have shown people with more bumper stickers were more violent and more likely to commit road rage seeing the car as an extension of themselves and interactions with the car as attacks on personal self and people are much more aware of "personal space" than before covid probably upping the sense of the car being an extension for more people.

So that explains Fox being owned by an Australian then?

[–] Krauerking@lemy.lol 4 points 6 hours ago

That's a cool idea. I was gonna suggest TPU

Yeah always had a good chuckle at the people that would try to point out the echo chamber hypocrisy in a subreddit and be upvoted but yelled at so hard then banned.

Same story every time.

Damn... Same. I was always excited for Elio which was supposed to be American made and use a moped engine that got insane gas mileage and cost 7 grand. Before their factory was bought from underneath them and they scammed everyone out of their money.
I will also take a glorified golf cart at this point.

Yeah I'm fine with just taking a train that will last way longer and is staffed by my local citizens who are being paid for their labor and effort and rent a well made car made from a respectful compamy or buy it if I need it long term.

But I guess I might just be a conservative socialist cause I don't think mass produced with slave labor, with stolen raw materials still from Africa, millions of individual electric vehicles is still any form of solution for anything least of all climate change.

But sure let's praise china for doing the uber model of electric cars.

Yeah I just can't help but think of all that sweet sweet money that we absolutely used to get by charging the rich assholes being bad with their fancy toy cars to the point of it being the main funding force for police for decades and wonder....

Why not take?

pathetic people who would means test their own kids before they gave them food and shelter if it was socially acceptable.

Ahh... I see you have met my dad, who decided only after I called him after having failed my suicide attempt to offer to take me back in after having kicked me out promptly at 18 and then only housed me for 2 months before driving me out to a random street corner and dropping me off saying he had lifted me back up enough for me to handle my own live because I was ruining his "vibe" while having a 3 bedroom house and a job that makes more than half a million a year.

A man who wouldn't let me get a drivers license because I wasn't allowed to touch one of his cars and needed to buy one on my own and figure out how to do it by 16 despite his first 3 cars being bought for him by his parents after he wrecked each previous one.

Americans are the worst culture. Truly fucking despicable what they think is sane. You only get to buy how you want to be treated and the threshold for the floor of basic human dignity is more than most of us can afford.

Can we just go back to having a legitimate conductor who also has a protected union job that is properly staffed so that they can do occasional walks through the train to be able to offer ticketing services that allow for rapid and mass transit for the masses that connect us in a way that allows for fucking easy travel.

Please! Or can we at least stop treating trains like an old existing extension of the singularly for profit monopolies paid by the government they were and just straight up have been allowed to become again!

Yeah... This is half a packet of seeds and they are literally hopping from the fence to tree branches literally a couple feet away.

I swear it said it was a bush type too and this is more forest.

Well the branch holding my bell peppers fell off entirely from the weight.... So guess it's fajita night.

I honestly have so many Serranos and jalapenos but am the only one that loves spice so.... On the plant they stay for another days nachos.

And yes I know that is a leek but my onions aren't ready and it's a kitchen scrap garden. So using what I got.

My in the ground bell peppers are freaking massive.

So, what's the general feeling on those plastic popup greenhouses?

After a particularly rough month with my plants I am considering getting a popup style plastic greenhouse for my plants.

I am kinda hoping that it would help to keep the moisture up and the shade up since a like half dozen of my peppers just got sunrot.

I have noticed my plants under my bug netting do better and my pepper plant in the ground under it doesn't have sunrot. I think it would also let me keep my pots longer in fall since in in zone 7 and cold snaps happen.

So.... Any thoughts? Tips? Etc?

I rent in an urban area and was given a backyard full of 6 foot tall weeds. Over the winter I managed to somewhat reduce their numbers and have been fighting them down since but also I didn't really have any money for gardening so I just went with direct inground with a bag of miracle grow for fertilizer and some cheap mulch for bedding.

Pretty much a scraps garden. I have green onions and regular onions, garlic cloves that sprouted, bell pepper and jalapenos, a potato plant, 2 basil and 3 Thai basil, a daikon scrap I'm letting flower I hopes of seeds I can plant next year, and all my beans and peas on the fence over there.

I also planted a blueberry bush that I realized I really should have kept in a pot cause I realized how long that thing is gonna grow for.

I also threw potatoes under the bush in the far back that is doing pretty good and a strawberry I won't ever be able to eat the fruit from because the critters get up earlier in the morning than me.
