After reading this, I'm really digging my unbroken head. I hope that was on the NHS!

It's a single BA design with not much bass - maybe one of the Etymotics? ER2-SE, ER3-SE and ER4-SE

Edit - ER2-SE has a dynamic driver but fits in

Final Piano Forte - a range of very odd IEMs which aren't designed to seal with the ears and they're made of metal. Putting them in feels like sitting on a lav with no seat, but they do very well with acoustic stuff.

I got a half-silent LCD-2 for £180 and fixed it up - it's a real favourite. It goes in my Burson Soloist 3XP which I managed to get for £300, with my Chord Hugo as DAC which I got for £700 in 2014

You'll have a hard time testing open-back headphones at Canjam.

There's Audio Sanctuary in New Malden for the Meze.

FatFrequency have trademarked the term 'Basscannon' - brilliant!

Westone tips will fit and so will Shure.

I've got Shure tips on mine

My motorcycle helmet is 1.5Kg which puts 500g in proportion

I've three different old K240s but I've not tried the 600 ohm Monitor. If it's like my DF and Sextetts then 'Darkvoice' sounds like the right sort of amp for it.

They're best at midrange in my opinion and bass might need adding according to taste, but they're damn decent generally

Fall asleep whilst listening to the soundtrack for 'The Omen', or it doesn't count
