There's two of us, anyway.

I'm still annoyed my new laptop doesn't have a menu key. I remapped the caps lock key to act as the menu key because it's so dang useful.
Yes, although I think DMs are still visible to the instance administrator. I'm not sure if there's a plan or what the timeline is for actually encrypting that information.
That's basically what a "dolphin" is and you can build them arbitrarily large. The only reason this bridge wasn't retrofitted with adequate protection was money. As with any large-scale disaster, there are multiple failures that lead to the incident. The boat is clearly to blame, but so is the bridge protection system.
I don't believe voting reform alone will solve the two party problem, since we continue to have single-winner elections. We will need to push through voting reform and add-on some kind of proportional representation (my favorite is Sequential Proportional Approval Voting). Then we'll have a real chance for minor parties to have representation in office, instead of just at the bottom of the ballot box.

Anyone who says vinyl is better is really just enjoying the experience. And you know what? That's fine. The problem is, some of them do a terrible job of explaining that it's not actually about the audio quality. When it is actually about the audio quality, vinyl is worse, but some people enjoy that aspect too.
For a structure that normally has these ships pass under it every day, it sure as hell should have had bollards to protect the piers against such an impact.
I keep QWERTY available with the super+spacebar shortcut on both platforms, that way anyone else who needs to use it can switch back. Also, I have see-through Dvorak stickers added so it's pretty clear that something is up with my keyboard just by looking at it. It also helps with finding those random symbol characters you use twice a year.
It really is worth the switch.
