Mine is slight, but it makes me tilt my head to the left...lol. And I have muscular problems in my neck. I have another set of headphones that is perfectly balanced and because of that, it helps relieve the muscle problems

I love the sound of these headphones, but whenever I put them on and start listening to them, it feels like the left side is very slightly louder than the right side.

I'm going to try to exchange them. But right now I'm using my Panasonic RP-HD300BT. Such a beautiful sounding set of headphones. They aren't as clear and open/spacious as the Senns, but they still sound great.

I'm leaning toward the marble design. I believe I'd buy that over the plain black version.

I looked at the Oratory list and the Peace "AutoEQ" list and there isn't an EQ for wired mode.

I'd like to be able to use my XM4 in wired mode, but I don't prefer their sound as is. They need EQ'ing.

That's a really good EQ setting. Really impressed with it.

Yeah, now that I know the bass is fine on these open back Sennheiser headphones, I'm excited to consider higher versions. The HD600 gets a lot of praise

These HD560S are merely my first foray into open back Sennheiser headphones.

Nice! I looked at that model with interest the other day while checking ratings on Headfonics. They scored a nice 8.8.

Bought the Sennheiser HD560S after much deliberation. I considered the HD6xx, HD600, HD58x and settled on the HD560S.

Many people have said the bass is lacking in the whole 600 series except the HD660S2. I just unboxed these phones and plugged them into my FiiO Q11 connected to my PC streaming UltraHD quality - PC audio settings set to 32 bit/192KHz Amazon Music without any EQ'ing and find their sound, so far, to be quite satisfying overall. The bass isn't extended like on Bluetooth headsets, but it's not really lacking.

Currently listening to some Jazz, but they sound good with Electronic/ambient, 90s Rock

My appreciation to everyone on here who recommended these. They sound really, really good.

Oratory1990's EQ preset

What EQ are those Oratory settings for? I'm using Equalizer APO and don't see the "Filter type", "Q-Factor" or "BW"

I have the "Frequency" and "Gain" set, but that's all

Something by Chris Cornell

Okay, got impatient and pulled the Q45 off the wine bottle and checked them out. 😊

They still don't sound good to me. I think their muddy bass or sub bass is interfering with the upper mids and highs.

I put them back in their case and shelved them. No amount of burn in is going to fix muddy bass.

Welp...My Q45 have been enduring the blazing loud sound of Death-adder Metal for over 24 hours. I might just go ahead and subject them to another 24 hours, really work that poor sound quality out of them 😊

As far as burning in headphones go, I don't think it's bunk at all. The data signal through a wire being better or worse can be bunk, but it depends on how much resistance is occurring in the cable...not likely enough to affect sound quality.

But with actual animated components like speakers, there could be benefits to wearing them in (burn in). Anything that moves will eventually wear out. A car engine requires a break in period because components are new and can loosen over time. Same goes for the diaphragms of speakers and the voice coil that moves back and forth on a magnet. Over time the material that makes up the diaphragm can loosen up and alter the sound produced.

When the voice coil moves back and forth on the magnet, it can smooth out microscopic pits and grooves making the voice coil freer to push air more efficiently.

Burning in my headphones. What would be best, heavy metal, death metal, bass heavy hip hop? References wanted

I gotta make this post long enough so it won't get deleted...

I'm using a smartphone with the headphones connected to the headphone jack. I'd use my portable amp, but it doesn't have an hp jack input and the phone needs to use the USB-C port for charging.

Just got a Topping G5 headphone amp/DAC that has Bluetooth 5.1.

I guess I misunderstood the description. I believed the amp would connect wirelessly through BT to BT headphones. Is that not true or are the instructions just not detailed enough?
