Couldn't players qualify for multiple categories? For example LeBron was the top player on multiple championship teams, but he was also the top player on multiple teams that made the Finals and lost (like Jimmy).

I remember when Sekou Doumbouya was one of the more hyped sleeper rookies. Guy came in super young with a raw skillset and never really developed. He's in the g-league now and is still only 22. Might still see him again.

I haven't used ESPN bet, but I'd bet that you can't cash out if you hit. Those free bets are usually just for credits. They're designed to get you in and once you gamble away the credits then you have to spend real money.

I know FanDuel and DraftKings do this. I had a friend hit a $200 win on a free sign-up bet, but that money can't be withdrawn and can only be put towards other bets. It's scummy as fuck.

It's technically possible, but extremely unlikely. Those 4-5 years after highschool are key and you're going to be playing major catch-up against kids 5 years younger than you.

Best bet would be to take the VanVleet route. Hit a g-league open tryout and go from there. He was 20/21 when he started though, and that was after going undrafted after playing at a pretty high level.

It's going to be tough and realistically the best case scenario is you grind incredibly hard for 5 years before playing 4 garbage time minutes in a blowout after getting called up for a game. Even that is an incredible achievement.
