God, what a fucking mood.
MossyFeathers
God. Your posts give off 2000s cringe Internet vibes and I hate it and love it at the same time. You have made me very nostalgic for a simpler time.
Keep up the good work.
Siphonophores. Extremely alien looking colonial organisms. Iirc they are, by far, the longest known aquatic creatures.
What I want to know is: how the fuck did he have an allergy to it in the first place?
Ew. If I had a partner who'd voted for Trump, we'd be done.
"Oh but Mossy, you're so heartless, how could you-"
Bitchass motherfucker, I'm trans. That should be all I have to say.
Imagine your husband voting for a racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic rapist who runs for a political party which has openly advocated for genocide both abroad and on US soil, and not divorcing him for his complete and utter lack of morality. Fucking gross.
WTF, the Nazi bar analogy wasn't supposed to be in support of the creation of Nazi bars. Are you okay? Did you recently hit your head? What the fuck have you been smoking?
Edit: Yep, knew it'd be unpopular. Rather than just downvoting me, though, why not tell me why you disagree?
Because I don't even know where to start. The biggest part, I suppose, is that if you give them a space like this, it normalizes the movement. People stop feeling like there is something wrong with disliking the LGBT community, the movement grows as it is no longer stigmatized, and LGBT rights backslide.
Furthermore, holding a "hetero pride" festival during pride month is inherently bigoted as well. Pride month exists because straight people wouldn't let gay people express themselves otherwise. Your idea isn't totally unlike the idea of letting klansmen openly hold festivals during Black History month so they stop harassing black people.
It's him! It's the man my parents always warned me about!
You can cancel out multipliers that way, but not additions.
Do it on the clock, during a work day. Make sure you plan for nothing to get done that day. Make it optional: go to the field trip (expenses paid), or take a free day of PTO. Either way they get paid and, because you planned for it in the development schedule, don't have to worry about potentially having to play catch up because of the day off later. That way it gives them the choice to go do something fun on the company's dime or stay at home and recharge. Another thing to note: don't limit yourself to game-related stuff like video game museums.
Go to an aquarium.
Go to a zoo.
Go to a national park if there's one nearby.
Go to a natural science museum.
The artistic side of game dev takes inspiration from a wide variety of sources, not just other forms of media. Tbh, the most boring field trip I can think of would be to go to a movie theater or video game museum. I want to see something new and take inspiration from that.
Weighted Wildlife. They specify how much each one weighs on their site. I have an opossum from them and I love her. She's one of my favorite plushies (don't tell the others I said that though). They've also got some 5lbs dragons in the works.
Creep Cat Toy Company also makes some weighted plushies like the raccoon and opossum, and the weighted ones come with a zipper in the belly so you can, remove, or move the weighted bean bags around.
The setting is fun. The author is garbage. Also don't think too hard about the characters or the way different magical races are portrayed.
