That's dissapointing to hear. Heard around here that 660S2 has visceral, deep bass that will knock your socks off. HD560s kind of bass or just slightly above it is nowhere near knocking any socks off.

No, I'm not joking. Impulse spending and rabbit holes are relatively common problems for ~~gearheads~~ anyone, and there are tons of free and paid resources out there to help you specifically with this situation. Better nip it in the bud before you discover some new gear fascination that are way more economically draining than just headphones, like cars and such.
It's not badly built, just a different material. Hifiman cans use metal parts, yet you can argue that they have worse build quality than Senns.
IMO well-built plastic cans are better than badly built metal cans by a long shot, as it is also lighter as a result, more comfortable for longer use cases.
Obligatory suggestion not to buy KZ.

It's just the way some headphone pad designs suit some people better than others. No real way to go around it other than changing pads or buying a new model, or maybe flip your earlobes inwards.
Just means that there's a chance you might like a mild V-shaped or 'fun' tuning more than the neutral-ish tuning the Wan'er has, which is perfectly fine. There's a lot of V-shaped IEM options as well.

Sennheisers and Beyers headphones (no idea about IEMs) out of any brand should last the longest as long as they maintain the same quality control. They can last you 20+ years if you take care of them well, with no noticeable change in sound quality whatsoever. Pads are a different thing ofc, but that's pretty much a given for any headphones.
The downside is, well, they don't really release new models.. lol. which can be a good thing actually, but it might be nice to have a Senn planar with the signature mids, personally speaking hehe.
