I hate Boston with a passion, but I'm not getting on board with this bullshit. Dude literally held on for like a split-second longer than was necessary. This is honestly the dumbest ring hanging tech I've ever seen. If he let go sooner, he'd have busted his ass.

Does the league rescind these techs after a review? Because this one is some serious bullshit.

It looks like a slightly out-of-control play. I mean, you don't want to leave your feet until you know what you're doing with the ball. But that pass was on the money, so seems like he calculated his exit strategy perfectly fine for that play.

I wanted to diss the thread title, but it checks out. No lies detected.

Empty stats.

LOL. Just kidding.

That's a soft-ass tech. These are grown men. There's a time when trash talk crosses the line, and this is not it. Saric did the right thing to defend the play. Unfortunately for him, Edwards did more to finish it. That was definitely worth a little trash talk. Saric didn't look too phased by it either. You have to let stuff like this slide. Save techs for when players clearly cross the line.

He'll pretend that he was just trying to shield the ball, but you don't have to dive into someone's legs to do that. He couldn't dove straight at the ball, and then just turned his body. Instead, he wanted to trip/deter Conley from getting the ball, and resorted to this bullshit.
