Hard disagree. They literally killed almost all the kids lmao. Hate Christians as much as you want, that's a right I support you having. Hate whoever you want why ever you want. But setting the precedent that you abolish religious groups by any means necessary (like prolonged torture and firebombing) will absolutely not lead to good outcomes or a good state. Giving Carte Blanche to eradicate groups of suspected behavior like that is how you end up with a whole lot of innocent deaths. To be clear, I believe he was a pedophile and should have individually been prosecuted along with many of the adults who went along with it. I don't think a multi month torture session followed by firebombing was the right move. Advocating for more like it is wild.
They took em down by torturing and killing the kids. It should have been shut down FULL STOP. My problem was the method by which they shut them down and intitial reason for the ATF investigation (had zero to do with pedophilia). As stated in other comments though, I think the leader was a pedophile and should have been prosecuted.
