Damn, I totally forgot about that bit!

Honestly I have only seen the final episode twice. I've seen all of season one about 10-13 times.

That is a perfect description of Insurrection.

I'll be damned if I’m going through a singing episode.

You simply cannot see the wisdom of Mahanit.

I usually don't like most singing episodes, but I liked the SNW one.

I was also never into TOS but SNW is great.

Lower Decks has become a comfort show.

So far discovery has held my interest, but there are so so many problems I have while watching it... My head cannon is that it's an alternate time line that diverged thousands of years ago.

I don't see myself watching Picard. I feel like Star Trek TNG left it at a good point with Insurrection (apologies to people who hated it, but it was my introduction to star trek and has a special nostalgia that I get to laugh about the terrible and/or poorly written parts)

Also I pretend nemesis doesn't exist.

Calm down there, Satan.

Surely the article title means "again", as he has done so repeatedly.

Landlords province nothing to society, they are leeches who profit off others hard work simply because they "own the property" the worker lives on and takes care of.

Save a tree, axe a landlord.

Damn, I need this on one of my shirts. Unfortunately the only local place I knew of that did screen printing closed down and I'm not ordering from a website...

Why are these pansy fucks complaining?

Money.

Every time my wife and I get passed by another lifted 350, one of us usually goes, in a sing-song voice, "tiny penis" to which the other responds, *clap-clap-clapclap-clap"

Or at least we used to. It's so common now it's not funny anymore.

Car companies could make sensible smaller vehicles that give proper balance to comfort, safety, and serviceablility. Instead they want more money and to follow the least amount of regulations, so now everything has to be big and terrible for both the environment and people. They unilaterally decided "fuck everyone who isn't in one of our cars"

My city just installed another new lane down the main shopping area and made the existing ones wider to accommodate the huge spike in larger vehicles since covid.

So far it's caused several accidents because they shifted the lanes over and the lines are poorly marked right now, so some people are continuing straight while others swerve into them with the lines.

Also it's mostly to put in "turn only" lanes along the right side, but with how many people are turning it just congests as people try to "get around the slow traffic" and end up trying to merge with 2 car lengths before the intersection.

Yes, I have very strong opinions on these matters, how did you guess?

I like it, but for some reason I don't like it as the intro.

It totally fits the theme like you say, it definitely has an uplifting hopeful tone.

But it's just out of place in my brain, so I skip it while watching the show.

Doesn't stop me from jamming out to it in the car.

I don't care for a lot of discovery, but I can't say it's not entertaining. I have made it to season 2 episode 9 so far. Not sure why but I stopped there and picked up another show.

It doesn't rank in my top 3 series, but it's not deserving of all the hate it gets.

I love strange new worlds, haven't seen the newest season yet but I'm working on rewatching the whole series.

I haven't seen Picard, and honestly I don't think I will. I won't pass judgment on it's quality, as I haven't seen any of it, but I know enough to know I might be disappointed.

And if I'm being honest with myself I just want to keep the nostalgia of TNG the way it is: Pretending Nemesis never happened.

The new shows are overall good. Every show has its hits and misses. I skip a lot of season 1 TNG.

And I skip the intro of every Enterprise episode. No, I don't have enough faith, at least not while watching the show. It's a banger though and in my Playlist.

It's okay to not like the new shows, it's not okay to shit on other people who do.

Does anyone for a moment think any article would use the phrase "Saudi/North Korean/Chinese president 'closes' US airspace" in any way if it were a threat to the US?
