Republicans blush at the amount of bans and cancellations of culture Russia is pushing out. The way Putin is dictating their citizens on how to live and what to say is the wet dream of the republican party.

This conference was kidnapped by big oil and was a total farce. And people wonder why people demonstrate with bolder meassures every year. It is because of shit like this.

Yes, but every other "oopsies" that will happen to your DNA Data will cost them a "We're so Sorry"-Card and a Hershey's Kiss per Customer. And there will be oopsies in the future. It was a way to voluntary get people to submit their DNA Data with the Bogus claim to "find out where your came from". But the value for the medicine (read: Pharma industry) is much much bigger. My Sister submitted her DNA to them. They now know the genetic probability of illnesses of my whole Family-Tree including mine and everyone else in the Family up and down. And not only they know, but everyone who is using the "leaked" Data. Thank you Sister.

Imagine you wake up at 6 AM on a monday morning in May, weather is already warm, drink your coffee, take on your uniform and go to your police job. Approximately 2 hours later, you knee on the neck of a black man doing your usual racism like you did for the past years, nothing special. At 8:20 AM you notice that this time the guy is not moving anymore...

Three years later, you wake up in a prison cell, listening to the command shouted by the corrections officer, walking down the hallway and suddenly getting stabbed by someone 22 times.

That is some Butterfly-Effect shit that you didn't saw coming when you woke up on that day in may in 2020. He must think a lot about this day. And George. For George it was an even worst day that day in May.

If the bank robber is able to break into the bank on his second attempt, he should not be held accountable for his first attempt. Solid logic. Sure.

I don't get how the EU is not in arms about this. How is Apple able to get away with offering various browsers in the Store, when in the End they all are the Safari-Backend and therefore do not allow for competition in this ecosystem? How can a competitor stand out with a remarkable/better product, when he is not allowed to use his own engine? Or in this case: Prohibiting user from using Extensions like uBlock? Firefox is only a shell of their original performance when castrated by apples webview engine.

The metrics must be crazy of people who will receive this aid, and then go and vote GOP. How many videos have I seen with MAGAs hating on Obamacare and Medicaid, and one Minute later telling how they rely on it for some illness. I would have headaches for days acting in that dissonance.

From the article (saved you a click):
