He’s been so unlucky this season. The number of absurd saves he has made, only to concede by some shitty deflection, bad decision, penalty, or just having Eric fucking Dier play a high “line” makes me feel bad for him.

And he’s such a lovely guy.

Davies could be a starter for a bottom team or reliable backup for mid team. He’s not good enough if we want top 5.

Dier on the other hand wouldn’t work in a championship side. He’s been dropping off for years but this last two has been a cliff. He does fuck all, and when he tries it is an error.

The number of downvotes I got for suggesting he would smash it was crazy.

It’s like people have this block in their brain where they can admit someone from a lower team is great, and they can admit someone from one of the traditional top clubs is great, but at the level of Spurs, being sort of in between it’s like we get overlooked.

Dembele was the best player in the league for a couple seasons, and even as people like KdB said he’s the best player he’d ever played with, everyone said Spurs were overhyping him.

It’s just happened repeatedly. Modric suddenly became world class. Same with Berba. It’s like literally taking off the Spurs shirt makes the player visible.

The only one I can remember that was properly rated was Bale and that was because you literally just gave him the ball and he put it in the net. Even when he came back to Spurs people under rated him even though he was BY FAR the highest goals/min in the league.

I’m more and more appreciative of Ange every day with these whining managers. The Romero red was a similar one to this one, in that neither were meant to be malicious, but the rules don’t allow for interpretation of intent.

Accept that sometimes it doesn’t go your way and move on. We got shafted at Brentford, and blessed for Liverpool. Our fuck up against Chelsea was our own doing. Same for Man Utd today.

That being said I was really expecting that Ten Hag wouldn’t complain as he seems pretty reasonable.

Why do I like Brentford so much? In general they seem likeable as a neutral. Always find myself cheering for them.

We didn’t look like title contenders. Weak first half, did enough in the second half. Crystal Palace weren’t bad, but they had players out so we played them at the right time.

We are top, and that’s as good as we can hope for. But we aren’t blowing teams away like you’d expect from a top team.

Well our xPGMOL is going through the roof on this one. Luckily it doesn’t matter too much but Vicario will be pissed.

Hopefully now people don’t continue with the nonsense that we get good decisions. We were lucky as fuck against Liverpool. Last season we were lucky against Chelsea and Brighton. Outside of that just completely fucked over. Even this season we’re already 3-1 bad decisions for vs against.
