Ok and? I just wanted to know what a certain descriptor people have used meant, it's not like I'll change my opinion of any of my earphones and headphones now that I know what note weight is

I've heard it being used in several reviews and comments, most notably it's column being removed from Crinacle's database. I know it might generally deal with lower mids and higher bass, though I have no idea what it definitively is. I tried to find out what it is, but I couldn't find any info other than mentions of it on several subreddits as well as Google. So what is note weight definitively, and why did Crinacle have a column for it in the first place, then neglect it and ultimately remove it?

The akg n400 has a set of pretty small wingtips in the box, though they really only excel in frequency reponse

Moondrop Blessing 3 is incredibly tweakable. (Especially for Bassheads) in c/headphones@hi-fi.community

I also use UC tips on my b3s, and I'm very grateful I'm able that my canals are large enough for me to comfortably enjoy them for pretty extended use

I don't like how I basically had to get a new cable and tape mod it, I'm alright with it's sound signature and technicalities, but I think it really shines with its compactness, I daily them as sleep iems

Is this setup considered “hifi” or do I need to sell my other kidney to achieve “hifi” status? in c/headphones@hi-fi.community

What you should do to achieve true hifi status is implant a small electrode array onto the cochlea, so you can directly stream music to your auditory nerve, with no detail loss nor distortion
