haha Don't use HDMI, It's trash anyway cant get 2560 x 1440 at 144HZ on HDMI, better off using Display port instead much faster speeds, that's how it works for me :3

I don't think it has to do with HDMI, more like the drivers, idk rather to wait or upgrade the drivers manual in Terminal. But idk what issue you are having, my HDMI is using 2.1, did u update your display, or even does your display support only 2.0 not 2.1

To begin: Ubuntu 23.04 64-bit system Gnome 44.2 Kernel Version 6.2.0-26-generic Wayland So I need help with getting blender to work with my Rx6700xt, I need HIP RT running, but as of rn it's not, do any of u have a solution for this. Also 3 months new to Linux, very scared of installing things i may or my not need.

Hmm? Website not loading, I try my best to not mess with linux, only using what was given to me when I installed Ubuntu. I did try fedora KDE, and my whole experience fell apart and made me go to Ubuntu. Wish I stuck to fedora but gotta stick to what I know and feel safe using

Using the add game to desktop shortcut dosen't work and only adds a broken badge and dosen't really add it to the system, plz help!! NEW TO LINUX!!!

When starting up stream and along side a game, it will sometimes make every application crash and unresponsive then the OS will lock up, any reason why this happens? Specs OS Ubuntu 23.04 Gnome 44.2 AMD rx6700xt Ryzen 5 5600xt 16GIB Kernal 6.2 Generic Wayland 64-bit ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II Firmware 5003

So when i launch steam everything else up, fire Gnome music, it will all show a application failed, then it will freez my entire system but again audio is fine. this is annoying does anyone else have this same issue?

I'm new to lemmy and linux, been daily driving Ubuntu 23 for 2 months and had nothing wrong happen, when I went distro hopping, witch I won't ever do again, everytime I tried to mount a steam apps folder it wouldn't show my apps, idk if this is a bug but I've gotten it fixed by creating a steam folder then copying all my games and placing them into the new folder, but if I click on the repair folder it would create a new one and completely brake it. Anyway i just wanted to share my findings, I hope this brings more light to someone who has this exact issue :)
