This article does not seem a bad faith argument though. This person is a registered Democrat, ran for a Democratic seat, canvassed for Democrats, was invited to a Democratic event. He didn't say, do, or even wear anything. Nonetheless he was singled out and threatened to leave with no explanation.

You seem to have a bit of an optimistic view on Harris position on Israel IMO. I won't begrudge you of that, you're free to think that way. But actions like the one this article reported doesn't do this opinion any favors.

They're already moving right. I don't think a lot of Americans fully understand how radicalized their politics have become over the past 20 years or so. Even your most radical leftists, like Bernie, is pretty moderate when compared to politicians in other developed democratic countries. Harris isn't very progressive to begin with, she's just infinitely better than Trump which makes her look like the best candidate in history.

I will never forget or forgive our governments and these companies for screwing over both Canadians and people around the world for what they did with the TFW program. Instead of bringing highly skilled people to our country we got cheap foreign labor to suppress wages and worsen the already really bad housing crisis.

An asshole isn't someone who disagrees with you in this case. Maybe I should have pointed out that I'm talking about the trolls that exist here who are just assholes. It's someone who is intentionally and knowingly spreading out misinformation or cherry picked quotes and events to further an agenda. Someone who dismisses what they don't like to hear so they can stand some "authoritative moral high-ground" that they've made up. I'll edit my comment to better reflect what I was trying to say.
