I have the 2022 version of this phone, and it's great value for money in the USA. Adequate performance, lots of internal storage, headphone jack, MicroSD slot, and good battery life. I didn't buy it for the (crappy) stylus, I bought it for the good value for money.

The 2023 version most notably updates the SoC from SD695 to SD6g1, which is about 15-20% faster and more efficient. It also adds stereo speakers, which is nice. It seems like everything else is only a marginal change or the same from last year.

And this is why we should've all cancelled Netflix when they began cracking down on password sharing. If we let them win, it'll become normalized across the entire industry, like what is happening here.

The way I see it is that I love cars and driving but hate car dependency. People who don't like that shouldn't be forced to get a car. This leads to less bad drivers due to people merely putting up with driving rather than focusing on it, meaning a safer world for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, and other drivers.

I get this feeling, but with iOS. Oh, I want to save a picture I found on the internet and message it. It's incredibly unintuitive to me and I feel like a grandma, even though on any other platform it would be easy.

I hate the dumbed down battling system. Why can't CP be a function of level and stats found in a regular pokemon game instead of one number to rule them all, and have the battles be like the mainline games?

Most of the time, it's not the ads that bother me. Instead, it's the sale of my personal info, autoplaying videos, and possible risk of malware that bothers me if I turn my ad-blocker off. I've tried several times to find a "fair" ad-blocker.

Pokemon GO hit it uses the real Pokemon battling mechanics in all battles (including wild encounters) instead of the dumbed down system currently in use. Catching and even monetization can remain the same.

I once needed to write an automation script in Tasker for work.

FX file manager for managing files.

Music speed changer to listen to your music in a different pitch or different speed. Gives you a new perspective on the music you listen to.

Other than that, there's just the basics like F-droid, Firefox+uBlock origin, etc.

Absolutely definitely yes.

In high school and continuing into university, everyone would play the iMessage/Snapchat games that only work with iOS. The few Android users, including me, were 2nd class citizens.

Using Android has absolutely cost me several potential friendships and looking back I genuinely should've spent the money and bought the inferior iPhone.
