i love my 6xx, i daily my 800s now, but i had to eq up the bass a fair bit. Stock i think the 600 series is the best. Always disappoints me that i feel like i have to eq the 800s, sound stage is amazing though.
I never really understood speaker-like soundstage, maybe i need better speakers
the pads are so shallow that you sweat in them no ANC when you have to take them off for your ears to breathe. They are also bass cannons and i hate it i wanted to like the xm4/5 a lot
the tripowin amber and mirage seem great but i was looking for just an adapter so i could fit any mmcx cable or a 2 pin if i can find it as well. in the end id like to use a cable that has a mic / volume control
meanwhile i think the xm4/5 are the least comfortable i’ve ever worn i guess it each their own
