Same but the Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G, and for the same reasons. It's not the best at anything but it's good at everything.

Are focal lengths on crop sensor lenses same as full frames ? in c/photography@viewfinder.pro

I used to use an 18-200 on a crop sensor and I currently use a 28-300 on a full frame sensor. They're basically the same.
