I've got a Bluetooth toothbrush, and it's sensor set lets me know if I'm brushing too hard or moving the brush too much ( it knows optimal pressure and movement). If I'm not walking around, it'll also show me a mouth map of my brushing, potentially suggesting missed spots.
In no way does it need the Internet though, that's dumb. I've not used the Bluetooth since the first week, but the pressure feedback is great, and has gotten me to brush better, so that's a win. If it'll start telling me the ph balance of my mouth? I'm sure that could be useful to track (I think you can get that electronically without much effort, other sensor types might be harder)
Listening to legal stuff hurts. Right now, it sounds like they are trying to argue that they don't want to do their jobs, but I'm sure it's deeper than that. Right?
(I can't keep listening. )
