I really believe he just made up a lot of stuff saying that he would be a distraction in the locker room as a backup. Teams have experienced some big hits this season losing starters or not having a quality starter for all that talk to have not cashed a spot on a few rosters.
I doubt they sign him and even if they did, Cam Newton is a better overall QB.
I have two players that I believe in the right hands could have been great. Still that is a big COULD.
This might sound crazy but Chad Kelly. The Broncos needed a QB bad and you could tell he was a week or two away from starting but dude decided to go and break into a person's house while completely drunk during Halloween and ruined his chances. He would have had a pretty good wideout duo in Sanders and DT at the time. If he had a chance, it could have been the start of a long career.
Outside of him, if Tony Sparano's wildcat offense took off, it would have been amazing to see what he could have done with Tebow under center. I believe they might have changed his career, making him a great alternate and really would have worn out the opposing defense.

Dobbs is playing at a great level. As a Broncos fan it was scary watching the guy sling it. If Jefferson was in he might have just pulled off a victory.
Vance really went do or die on those blitzes. If the Vikings line played better, Dobbs might have had enough time to find the open man.
