Fletcher should have had a silly dance when he came onto the field.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the stats of our own epic bust of a QB, and Dwayne Haskins was on pace to be worse than both these guys.
The funny thing is, this could be completely made up and none of us are going to look to see if it’s true.
Mountain out of a molehill. It’s all a bunch of mildly iffy comments from the team towards Chase, and then Chase back to the team, none of which was untrue. Getting rid of Sweat and Young isn’t going to have a big impact on a defense that wasn’t good with them. And our culture isn’t exactly a “winning” one as compared to San Fran. That’s it. Nobody cares, move on.
I doubt he’ll get fired. I doubt Harris cares to see JDR as a head coach. Maybe he’d let EB take over as an audition, but I kinda doubt it. EB was a decision made before Harris arrived, and he probably wants a fully clean slate without dealing with all the baggage of EB.
I get that he’s next one up to getting paid, but 1) we have cap space to pay everyone right now, 2) he’s a first round pick, 3) while he isn’t elite, he’s very good and played up to being a late 1st.
A third and nothing else is pretty crappy.
So his big gripe is presnap reads and calling audibles? Meh. QBs today are historically young, so it might just be a matter of time. Coaches want to take over games now because of the success of guys like McVay and Shanahan who can scheme to create offense, rather than relying solely on the QB. When it work, it’s more reliable and stable. But the league is always adjusting, and the coach-centric offense will probably evolve another way, eventually. This sounds like old man sour grapes from Brady that the game is a little different now.
