I have two gig jobs I work and am debating on if it’s worth it to go through the vpn rigamarole to fool the second gig job - for the job security etc.

If there can be serious legal ramifications besides being fired I want to know before I decide.

Sounds illegal af Sue them

I've checked out Cigna and Allianz for their rumored superior emergency, and evacuation coverage. Of course Outpatient (cold / flu, OBGYN, stomach bugs, etc) is not included and to add this it'll cost between $900 - $1200 a year. Neither is dental or vision.

Pre-existing migraine and IBS which I only need outpatient care for 2-3 times a year. Get sick 1-2 a year, sometimes get the stomach bug or bronchitis, sometimes need to go to OBGYN for checkup or yeast infection or something benign like that. Just need regular preventative dental and vision care, no cavities or glasses. Definitely do need therapy, lol.

I'm wondering if it might actually be cheaper to pay out of pocket instead of purchasing a plan like this? I'll only be in Eastern Europe which supposedly has very reasonable medical prices. Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, B&H, Bulgaria, Romania, Kosovo, Macedonia.

Asking for others personal experiences of safety in Albania is not an offensive question, gtfo lmao

Wolters World isn’t exactly vlogging more like tips on travel from experience. And he seems nice

I have been thinking about that lol. I guess I’ll try to go out in lower traffic times

Very encouraging :)

I keep seeing conflicting reports in the safety of Albania for solo females. Anyone have any personal experience to offer?

It’s a huge perk. I love driving but don’t like the dangerous drivers accidents or costs. Walking makes me more healthy and connected with my community as does taking public transport. Not a reason I went nomad but a reason I might stay this way for a while!!

I’m going to albania. Hoping it’s safe, have heard good things

If I transfer my US number to Mint Mobile for 2FA purposes, can I use that at the same time as I use a local SIM to access data etc in destination country?

Or can you only access US # separately from local data?

Trying to figure out 2FA. It’s def difficult!

AirBNB's customer service is PURPOSEFULLY bad. Make no mistake, it goes way beyond the service workers communication problems. They have tightened their policy to screw the customer and side with the home owner 99% of the time, even WITH proof, even WITH video evidence. I dread using them in case something goes wrong bc I know I won't get any restitution. They screwed me out of $400 for what was supposed to be a luxury Christmas present get away. The place was NOT clean, everything was disgusting, I had proof. Ofc I get no refund, and they allow the host to harass me over messages. Fuck AirBnB.

Google Fi will stop services after a year if you don’t visit the US, Ive read. Also have seen that some have had services stopped after 2 months in Mexico. How would I run 2 sims on one phone?

Roaches are literally everywhere. When humanity dies off, roaches will still be here. They'll evolve to eat plastic and shit dirt and be the next overlords (maybe).

If you have a main phone and a backup phone, can you pls judge my plan and share your system? I'd like to have a backup phone in case my main phone gets stolen or damaged, and for my second job which will require VPN, router, and location masking. I'm from the US.

Phone 1
US phone number for job that's cool with DNing - transferred to Skype, Hushed, Tossable Digits, or Flexphone
Signed into job email
Signed into job Slack
Local SIM & Data for hotspot
Take with me on adventures for maps, pictures?
2FA Banks, Accounts - transfer number to
Stores passwords

Phone 2
Us phone number for job that needs VPN/router/location masking
WIFI only
No local sim
Stays at accommodation
Back up phone

Main questions are:
- Does my plan look good, am I missing any details?
- Should I use Skype, Hushed, Tossable Digits, or Flex Phone to house my US# for 2FA and texts/calls with friends/family?
- Or should I get a super cheap US phone plan and downgrade it in addition to that / instead of that?
- Which US phone plan should I get, if so? I'm on TMobile right now.
- How to get US phone number for phone for job that requires location masking etc without paying for US phone plan?
