It is absolutely barbaric that this is "standard" in the US, particularly because some religious looney tune was obsessed with children's masturbation. I don't care if an adult of "sound mind" chooses to make alterations to their body, but it certainly should not be allowed on children, let alone infants.

That's the one strength the US has ever had, immigration. So many inventions and industries exist because of immigrants. Most times it was in the face of rampant descrimination, segregation, violence, and attempts to shut them down or take it from them. It was the only part of the civic religion they indoctrinated us with as children that wasn't complete bullshit.
I don't find that extreme at all. What I find extreme is a system that robs us of our time, quality of life, and actively kills us.
I believe people are referencing the executions of Louis and Marie during the revolution.
It's crazy that there was a whole shitshow about taxation without representation (though the colonists certainly cost money starting shit with native peoples), yet over 200 years later, there are still people taxed without representation.
That's goofy as hell that the emergency number isn't localized. I think the idea that pressing a physical button 5 times quickly is faster than having to look at the phone and select options. Idk, though, I don't use it.
I see. I think the wording threw me off a bit.
I've always expected anywhere targeting tourists to be expensive relative to the local economy. That is an absurd price for bottled water, though. My rule of thumb is to never take anything from the minibar. There's usually a shop within a block or two you get the same thing from at a much more reasonable rate.
I'm a bit confused with the section about "fees." Are there casinos in the world you get to stay at, eat, and have them watch your kids for free?
Bixby was not llm based, originally, and sometimes updates will rewrite a user's custom settings. For instance, I had a galaxy on which I made pushing the power button three times turn on the flashlight. An update occurred that overrode that setting by deleting it and turned on five presses to call 911. I ended up accidently calling 911 at 3am (accompanied by a blasting alarm sound) trying not to wake someone by turning on the light.
It costs $100k, operating the vehicle as intended causes parts to fall off, rain will disable it, and it's incapable of leaving the pavement. Every one they managed to sell has been recalled. There's no way it dethrones the hilux, which is dependable, cheap, readily available, and well proven offroad, in combat. I know musk isn't too bright, particularly when his pride is involved, but he'd be a bigger fool than I believed him to be if he restarts production on the cybertruck. Frankly this reads like some backroom "advertising" deal with the Trump administration to con people into changing their minds about or, more likely, to drum up interest among nonstate actors so Tesla can make bulk sales to offload the current stock. "Ooh, the largest airforce in the world is concerned about this commercially available vehicle made out of glue and sheet aluminum with a built in explosive pack just waiting for a detonator!" Product costs money to hold and they're in the hole bad.
Edit: I misread your comment, apologies.
In the US, that isn't the case. "White" is treated as the default, and everyone else is "othered." It is short hand for "not Caucasian." It has changed now, but even hair products for black hair were labeled with signs as the 'ethnic hair' section for the majority of my life.
