One thing wasn’t clear was how to employ someone overseas, just states to pay via PayPal / Wise. Is that acceptable in the Philippines? And how do you ensure talent doesn’t leave after short period of time? If they do, so do you help replace at lower cost?

Have been doing this for a while. Corporate job and doing real estate on the side - mainly buy/fix/rent/maintain. Rentals are relatively passive management and when I need something fixed I have my list of dependable contractors.
Working on starting up a business consulting firm now, but more prep and networking vs doing work yet - plan to transition full time next year.

All notifications are off on my phone, Outlook, teams, etc.
Also, Monday mornings, starting my week of focusing a couple of hours of the key items I need to get done for the week and Fridays closing out the week I focus on the mundane admin work to close out the week
