They raised 100 mil in funding and phased out the first game in order to work on the second. They didn't lose the interest of their audience (source).

It's also very expensive compared to other finish options like plating or different types of paint. I would be surprised if price wasn't also a factor.

Hades II. It's so hard to put down.

My house was one of the ones hit in this storm. Baseball sized hail was blowing in sideways and broke a window. We lost a huge limb from our oak in the front yard. I got a roof inspection yesterday and it's shot, it needs replacement. This was an expensive storm for me, but it could've been much worse. One of my coworkers said her neighbor's tree fell on her house.

Are the prices coming down at all?

I haven't played Apex in years, but this used to drive me insane. I think the Origin "remember password" checkbox is for decoration only.

I've been thinking about a Balatro community for a few weeks now, but life has been too crazy for me to create it. I'm really excited about this! If you're looking for mods, please let me know. I'd be interested in helping out!

I can't believe Balatro is so high on the list even though it came out less than a month ago. It's very deserved though, it's crazy addicting and it plays perfectly on the deck.

I picked up Armored Core VI in the recent sale, I've been enjoying it a lot more than I anticipated. Being able to switch up everything in the build after dying then trying again makes the failure fun.

Here is the entire article (not kidding):

"A meningitis outbreak has killed 20 students in northern Nigeria, local media reported Wednesday (Feb. 28).

The death toll which remains provisional was announced by the Yobe state Education commissioner.

The outbreak has been recorded in some secondary schools in the state.

Over a hundred cases have allegedly been reported with three patients said to still be in an intensive care unit responding to treatment.

Meningitis is an infection which causes an acute inflammation of the outer layers of the brain and spinal cord. It can be life-threatening unless diagnosed and treated early.

Transmission is through direct person-to-person contact, including droplets from the nose and throat of infected people.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention shared Wednesday (Feb. 28) on its X account (formerly twitter) a meningitis vigilance map.

Indeed, weather conditions can favour prevalence of meningitis.

Most of cases in the country are reported across states in the northern region.

According to the WHO, the west African nation reported 124 deaths from meningitis between 1 October 2022 and 16 April 2023."

It doesn't even say which version it is, viral or bacterial.

Seeing Tron: Legacy in 3D in theaters is one of my favorite theater memories. Regardless of how the story turns out, I'll probably see this for the visuals alone.

It's because it's safer from an investor perspective. A reboot of a successful movie and continuations in established series have more predictable revenue than an original story, which is why originals have become more rare. It all comes down to money.
