One must be truly fucking retarded to consider Afghanistan as a travel destination.

As people nowadays lack common fucking sense the Taliban might be successful with their undertaking.

It scares me that young unexperienced people can be directly influenced through social media to fucking believe Afghanistan is a nice place to visit. Even more scary is the fact that there is a high chance that travel advertisments target young western women because they are the main target audience for the "travel lifestyle".

Absolutely horrible.

I followed Ashged's guide to install the update and upgrade to KDE6. It worked and now let's see if I run into any bugs. So far everything seems to work fine.

Halfway through the installation it throws me back to the login screen. When I try to continue the update/upgrade it does it again.

I already did a rollback with snapper and forgot to note at which package it exactly happened.

So anyone trying to update, beware that the update might not get through.

I'll wait a week and then try again.

Update

Ashged on reddit:

*Yeah, unfortunately the update doesn't work within KDE. No idea if/when they'll make a fix for that.

The update however works outside KDE, in an IceWM desktop or a TTY. For best results, first log out of KDE, then using Ctr+Alt+F1 go a text based enviroment. Log in there, use sudo zypper dup, then after it finishes, reboot and log in to your regular KDE desktop. Plasma 6 should upgrade succesfully.*

I've finished Firewatch and started Bayonetta.

I have been using Firefox since I can remember. That it is open source is a huge plus. The features it offers are great.

I can live in GNOME and only use the defaults. It just takes time to adjust my workflow. What helps me with whatever I'm using or whatever I'm doing (in life), is to not focus on the things "missing" and just make the best of what I have (to work with).

Since two years I'm on KDE but not because I was fed up with GNOME. I just wanted to try something else. Pretty much using stock KDE only that I moved the taskbar to the top of the monitor.
