I will cry with relief. I just can’t do another four years of him again. My stomach is in knots already. I have a LGBT kid. I can’t have her growing up oppressed. Having a rapist for a president is a joke.

I wonder for much of that 25% vanished are pages that are “retail”…. Although I guess it’s like having an old sears catalog around to document prices.(?). My old Tripod pages from my high school reunion in 2001 are still alive!

I like all my kids friends except for one. She stayed overnight a few weeks ago and there was something off putting about her. Took her out the night of the meteor shower and again she’s just non-responsive? Last night she was part of a big NYE sleepover. She didn’t pick after herself, insisted on sleeping in the closet (was at an Airbnb, not our house), wouldn’t wake up when we were trying to get everyone ready to leave, and refused to help with picking up the house/clean up for check out. Wasn’t necessarily disrespectful to our face but not respectful either. If asked to have this one over again, I’m inclined to say no. But maybe fourth time is the charm? Not sure if I should be telling the parent. She’s in sixth grade so probably 11/12. Maybe autism spectrum? Thoughts?

I am the mod for two communities, one I created and one I was added. I don’t see where I can edit the sidebar, etc. I can edit and delete posts, and when editing I can pin a post. This is on Edge for windows (work computer) and safari at home and iPhone. Is there something extra I need to download? I am (clearly) not a programmer, just trying to do my part for the greater good. 😁. I also can’t save my Matrix ID on my profile, keep getting error about my language choice. @zerlyna:matrix.org. Thanks!!

I use an iPhone and my fiancé uses Android. He is not very tech savvy. He does not like to text for privacy reasons. I was going to recommend we get Signal but see others in Lemmy talking about Matrix. Is that better? If so, what app is best that works on both our phones? Thanks Lemmy friends!
