Jesus Christ the fact this even has to be explained

I don't think it needs to be explained to anyone approaching this conversation in good faith. However, the person you're replying to is just making a poor attempt to dismiss racism and gaslight people.

Isn’t that considered the traditional meal that is served on Juneteenth?

Nope, and you clearly did not read your own source.

You didn't bother to read either link , remain ignorant

That’s rich considering that you clearly didn’t read your own first link. If you had you would’ve known it didn’t include fried chicken before it was pointed out by another user. But hey, let's keep pretending you're not just making a poor effort to dismiss and downplay blatant racism - and you definitely weren't just including a random link and betting on people being too lazy to actually read it.

Every year some dipshit racists at a company somewhere in the US decide to serve fried chicken and watermelon on Juneteenth because they think they're super clever and subtle and the moment the backlash hits the news there are thousands of people like you waiting in the wings to gaslight comment sections across social media.

but knowing how a southern white clown thinks

The weird thing is a huge percentage of people living in Charlotte aren't even from the south. There are a lot of corporations headquartered in Charlotte, which has led to a huge influx of transplants over the last two decades. Hell, It's got a large enough Western NY population that there are Sabres/Bills bars and I could get regional products like white hots at the grocery store.

Look, I understand, but that’s a damn good meal.

Have you ever seen fried chicken before? Because this is shit:

Yeah, I remember when this was first reported in 2022.

OpenAI, meanwhile, accused Musk of essentially being jealous that he was no longer involved in the startup, after he left OpenAI in 2018 following an unsuccessful bid to convince his fellow co-founders to let Tesla acquire it.

So a spoiled brat had a massive hissy fit after not getting his way? Yeah, that sounds like Elon alright.

The guy that's been riding Adam Sandler's coattails for 34 years? Oh yeah, he's super accomplished.

[–] ZeroCool@vger.social 45 points 5 months ago

I'll never forgive Adam Sandler for keeping Rob Schneider vaguely relevant by letting him ride his coattails for the last 30 years. "Makin' coppppieeesss" stfu you bigoted hack.

Can’t say I find this surprising but it’s still a valuable finding. Research like this is important if we’re going to make sure history never forgets exactly what the average Trump supporter believed and why they betrayed the country on 1/6.

Nah. Zero tolerance for the intolerant.

A woman allegedly stabbed a 3-year-old boy to death outside an Ohio grocery store in a random attack, according to police.

The little boy and his mother were both stabbed around 3 p.m.

Ellis and the victims didn't know each other, police said.

Jesus fucking Christ... My heart breaks for that little boy and his mother. That's just... unimaginably horrific.

I know most people that were on reddit at the time are fully aware of this and won't be surprised but don't dismiss the findings out of hand. It's important that studies are being conducted and the fact that the finding match our lived experience is still noteworthy.
