Ah thanks that makes sense.

Eat red meat and black olives? Iron is like 6% of the earths crust. It’s everywhere.
Less than 2/3 of the vote counted. Since 1982, CalPIA “employs” prisoners for $1/hr to make office furniture and supplies, stamp license plates, and fight wildfires, among other labor. Some have died. It’s slavery. If the measure passes, these activities will cost the state a lot more money. And to add to it, Prop 36 looks like we will be sending more prisoners in for non-violent crimes.
No problem just make sure they don’t send any good white boys to prison. /s
EFF will pick up the slack.
Yesterday Apple’s TextEdit autocorrected (capitalization) and it made me really mad. I’m trying to type a case sensitive input file using a full keyboard. Leave me the fuck alone.
Let’s protect the first amendment. Encryption, privacy against tracking, access to illegal information. The government shouldn’t even know what your political leanings are. And the first arms you should work to develop are probably anti-drone, and counter-surveillance.
Guess what? Chicken butt.
I am eligible. Maybe I’ll start a webpage for 2028. Though I doubt it’s possible without lots of money.
Python is hacky, because it hacks. There’s a bunch of ways you can do anything. You can run it on numerous platforms, or even on web assembly. It’s not maintained centrally. Each “app” you find is just somebodies hack project they’re sharing with you for fun.
Self hosting is glorious when it works, and a bit frustrating when it doesn’t. I’m using Emby, and I just finished upgrading from an arm 32-bit, to an Intel N300. It was working great until I relocated the new server to a different location. On boot the USB hard drive was just barely working but super slow. Not sure what the issue was, but it’s working after changing USB ports.
Not only that but it signaled the beginning of the end for fair elections. I resent Gore for conceding the election. Should have battled it right up until Inauguration Day and the first order of business should have been to abolish the electoral college.
Portal 2 is only two player, but it’s my favorite game and it has a co-op mode with puzzles that require both people.
