Christian Watson avoided a major injury, so that's some good news.

They could still get a wildcard spot. All the other injuries yesterday, plus Tucker Kraft, ended the hope for a deep playoff run.

Roman is slated to launch by May 2027, but the team is on track for launch as early as fall 2026.

Great work by the team! Being ready to launch sooner than scheduled is really impressive for a program like this.

The small one is less bad, but it's still, notably, not a bike.

I don't think they could've done much better with trades and free agents without Steve Balmer money. Their last few coaches have been rough and their draft picks haven't done much for them for 10 years, though.

I guess some people really like leaving some performance on the table

A level 1 with more than a few bullet points of backstory doesn't make a ton of sense to me

I do think that part of why vehicle complexity is spiraling and repairability is dropping off is because manufacturers don't care about longevity and especially not anyone who buys used cars and has to deal with fixing them after the warrant expires.

I just don't also need a slimy middleman involved in that shitty process.

This is another reason why the dealership model needs to keep dying. They do not have your best interests in mind.

Nah, I think you're missing their point.

One of the car memories that lives rent free in my head was having a ton of fun whipping a cheap rental on some winding back roads in Croatia and getting absolutely dusted by the old shitbox in front of us. We finally caught up to the dude at a traffic light and said "hey, we tried, but it's only 100hp" and he said "that is more than enough, you just don't know how to drive".

End of an era.

I bet we'll see a couple more articles like this from the Clippers retirement home. Brook Lopez is 37. Nic Batum is 36.

Hopefully you can disable the virtual gears. It was really weird when some CVT cars did that. EVs doing it is even weirder.

I love their upper stage concept. Compared to Starship, it seems like it should be a lot more rapidly reusable.

Tesla Inc. is developing support for Apple Inc.’s CarPlay system in its vehicles, according to people with knowledge of the matter, working to add one of the most highly requested features by customers.

The carmaker has started testing the capability internally, according to the people, who asked not to be identified because the effort is still private. The CarPlay platform — long supported by other automakers — shows users a version of the iPhone’s software that’s optimized for vehicle infotainment systems. It’s considered a must-have option by many drivers.
