I cant speak to CoD specifically, but being able to locate opponents, shots, activity etc by sound is a massive advantage in many multiplayer shooters. I can personally vouch for its relevance in CS, Apex Legends, Arma 2&3, The Finals, DayZ, and Battlefield.

No. He is bad and he should feel bad. He was sad because his evil plans didn't work out the way he had hoped. He is alone because he abuses the people around him because he considers himself a superior being for whom others are just play things.

His backstory of abuse goes a way to explain why he is the way he is, but it does not excuse it.

What is the upside of allowing the government to kill citizens?

Another reason to use Logitech mice: ease of repair. Apart from skates covering the screws on the underside, Logitech does not use glue to keep it's mice together. And due to their popularity, replacement parts (including the battery btw) are widely available even for older models.

The first randomized, controlled clinical study to attempt to study this “reversal” protocol’s effectiveness came to an abrupt stop in 2019, after three participants landed in the hospital hemorrhaging blood.

The general horrificness of this aside. How do you recruit participants for a study like this? "Do you want to be pregnant but don't mind having an abortion? Would you like an abortion but don't mind if you actually get it reversed?"

Only 1 concurrent player per copy in the family library. So to play together you'd still have to both buy the game.

That and of course Slay The Spire, IMHO peak rogue like deck builder.

You can turn down everything to minimal (so maximal battery life) and have a perfect playing experience with that.

What is the hoopla around Palworld?

War gaming can be fun, but I don’t think DnD is especially geared toward it

Isn't like 90% of the rules for DnD just rules for combat and treasure? Literally every single class in DnD is a combat class. And when people talk about their DnD characters they say "I played this Dragonborn Cleric..." or "Multiclassed Tiefling Mage/Rouge" and not "I played this Dwarf that had really good proficiency in Persuasion and 'Use Rope'". [Btw is 'Use Rope' still a skill in newer DnD editions?].

While it technically works it has massive issues.

After every patch I can play 1 match. Then I get kicked because some random file has a version mismatch. From there on the game will not let me back into the lobby screen because of version mismatches.

I've tried deleting the proton prefix, reinstalls on various ssds and hdds, different proton versions...

And it's definitely an Apex issue since a ton of other EAC games work just fine for me.

The only thing that actually works reliably is booting to Windows and playing it from there for me.

Yes. And that's worse.

You don't. The only thing you need their permission for is to work with them (by putting something in their stores). I feel it's reasonable to give them that power.
