Crossing my fingers that Ernest from Kbin doesn't turn out to be a racist or something

The major issue I see with Lemmy communities and Kbin magazines, is that they both rely on a single server to be up and running to even work. Sure, you can cross-post to several communities at once, but that generates one different thread per community. Add to that the fact that to even start to implement a single distributed thread properly cross-posted to several communities, they must take into account that a given user or server may be defederated from one community but not another - should the user not receive the message if at least one server bans the user, or should the user be allowed to receive it if at least one server allows the user to receive it?

I thought that the payload was "the year of the Linux desktop at long last"

That's precisely what I'm currently using on my server. I'm still not too happy about the original authors though.

Well it was enough of an issue to cause yet another fork of Misskey to exist: https://iceshrimp.dev/iceshrimp/iceshrimp/commit/a3713af06ffb12b62b1145d08c79b811e9cdf112

I was considering to move away from Pleroma into Firefish, but it looks like both of them are problematic projects...

Imagine getting native support for Steam Link on this thing! Especially with the integrated controller.

Well. Even more of a reason for me to keep not listening to music anymore.

Absolutely! The ability to have a file drive with all the pictures you've posted, the concept of "antennas", and the ability to seriously customize the interface are very welcome in comparison with flat Mastodon. My only pet peeves are that it still doesn't play fine with Lemmy or PeerTube feeds.

Note to self, see how much will this break the YunoHost packaging as it will need to rebrand in turn

The one thing it's missing for me to ditch Firefox Sync for KDE Connect, is a way for me to store sent tabs while I'm not near my computer or when it's off.

Technically speaking, I'm already taking it (ritalin and sertraline) - and it's barely working!
