Eh, give it time. Trae has been better and JJ is breaking out. New coach and system. Likely making personnel changes at center within the next year. Still have our own first this year and a 2029 first to trade in the future. Along with that massive trade exception from the JC trade.
Things could look very differently in the near future. Now if personnel changes and we’re still in the same spot basically, then yeah, Trae is gone. Snyder won’t be the one on the hot seat.

AJ is a rhythm player and he won’t get the touches he probably needs to be himself. Still a really good offensive prospect
Plausible. Collins is a good rebounder and could help JJJ in that department
If his 3 ball is here to stay (the last 40 or so games of basketball says it is) then he’s just as good as ever.
But can anyone think of a team that already has a stretch 5 AND a great playmaking PG that has a hole at the 4 spot? This lineup is the only way to maximize Collins’ talent

Dejounte can take over games on both ends of the court in a way few guards can, if any.

I think basketball players do overrate a bag a bit too much but the reddit doesn’t give it enough respect. Too stat driven with lack of context in these parts, while actual players ignore stats a bit too much when someone has a bag
